RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives Egypt’s Al Yawm TV crew

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Mohamed Nasser, who is editor-in-chief of the Near East’s prestigious Ala Alhaua talk show aired on the Al Yawm television channel of Egypt’s Orbit Telecommunications Company and the talk show’s hostess Miriam Zaki. The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Egypt and the Armenian Prelacy of Cairo had organized the crew’s visit to Armenia on 6-12 December. The crew is making a film voted to Armenia and the Armenian Genocide.

Greeting the guests, the minister expressed gratitude for the television company’s initiative to make such a substantial film and mentioned that the Arab World received the survivors of the Armenian Genocide compassionately and provided them with the opportunity to become self-organized and grow as citizens, while preserving their national identity and culture.

Within the frames of the film, Hranush Hakobyan gave an interview to the Egyptian television station as she answered Miriam Zaki’s questions related to the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and the elimination of the consequences, as well as the activities carried out by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

Mohamed Nasser and Miriam Zaki expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and the interesting interview.
