Alpinist Alfred Karapetian placed poster devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial on Mount Kilimanjaro
In September 2014, member of the Ararat Armenian Cultural Organization of Iran (AACO), alpinist Alfred Karapetian climbed to the highest peak of Africa, that is, the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters).
At the peak, Alfred Karapetian placed a poster devoted to the Armenian Genocide Centennial, as well as the Armenian tricolor flag and a commemorative flag devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Ararat Armenian Cultural Organization. He dedicated this achievement to the families of martyrs of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
