Deputy of the RA National Assembly, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia Shushan Petrosyan, who is an inheritor of Armenian Genocide survivors, as well as beloved Armenian singer Hasmik Karapetyan and her husband, Diaspora Armenian musician Shant Kirmizian have joined the #2015RTAG. Recognize the Armenian Genocide campaign.

Thousands of people from different countries have already joined the campaign, urging Turkey and other countries not having recognized the Armenian Genocide to recognize the first Genocide of the 20th century that took the lives of 1.5 million Armenians.

The movement was started ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide by the Armenian community of Marseilles under the leadership of community figures Ani Stepanov and Richard Findigian.

The creators of the #2015RTAG. Recognize the Armenian Genocide campaign have created special groups on Twitter and Facebook and have launched a special website in seven languages, and the #2015RTAG hashtag has already become widely popular on the Internet.
