The situation in Aleppo, particularly the Armenian-populated districts is calmer, but there is still instability. This is what “Hayern Aysor”’s source from Aleppo told ArmenPress, adding that there are always domestic and other difficulties. As for water supply, the source reported that even though water is cut for a short period of time, there is no water crisis in the city, and there is electricity for a couple of hours throughout the day.
The source also mentioned that it has started getting cold in Aleppo. The government has distributed 200 liters of fuel to all citizens, even though many people haven’t been able to pay the price for fuel.
Earlier, on the night of November 3, the Armenian-populated Jalaa district of Aleppo was the target for missiles that caused serious damage.
The source reports that the Internet started working again after a 6-day hiatus in Aleppo.
The three-and-a-half year clashes in Syria have killed nearly 200,000 people, and more than 100 Armenians have been killed.
