TO RA HONORARY CONSUL IN FRESNO

Dear Mr. Abgarian,

I was very pleased to be informed that the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia has opened in the Armenian-populated city of Fresno. I was even more pleased with your appointment as Honorary Consul. I take pride in the fact that alongside the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America and the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles we now have another representation that will be involved in further development and strengthening of U.S.-Armenia relations, as well as in the solution to issues concerning the Armenian American community and preservation of the Armenian identity.

I cordially congratulate you on behalf of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and on behalf of myself. I take pride in the fact that even though you live and work outside of the Mother Homeland, that is, the United States of America, you have managed to gain the trust of being appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia with your human attributes and activities.

I fully hope that close, friendly relations will be established between the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Armenia in Fresno and that the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora partnership will become stronger under your leadership.
