Bako Sahakyan has invited U.S., Russian and French Presidents to visit Artsakh

President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan has sent invitations to the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries (U.S. President Barack Obama, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and President of France Francois Hollande) via the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to visit Artsakh with the Co-Chairs.
This is what President Bako Sahakyan mentioned in an interview with Voice of America, reports aparaj.am.
“We believe the leaders of the co-chairing countries can’t make serious progress in dealing with a country and the destiny of a nation without having direct contacts with that country. Today, we believe that is one of the biggest flaws in the efforts of the international community,” Bako Sahakyan said.
In response to the question on the return of territories, the President mentioned that all the territories of Artsakh, including those that are proposed to be given to Azerbaijan by the Madrid Principles, are enshrined by the NKR Constitution, and the right to revision of the point in the Constitution is only granted to the people of Artsakh.
The following is the film “Peaceful Life Next to the Phantoms of War” produced by Voice of America and devoted to Artsakh.
