Nayiri Megerdichian has been appointed editor of “Hayern Aysor” electronic newspaper of the RA Ministry of Diaspora

Nayiri Megerdichian has been appointed editor-in-chief of the “Hayern Aysor” multilingual (Eastern Armenian, Western Armenian, English, Russian) electronic newspaper of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

Nayiri Megerdichian was born in Kamishli, Syria.

In 2001, she graduated from the Department of Language and Literature at Hamazkayin Armenological Institution in Beirut.

In 2003, she graduated from the Department of Educational Management of the Faculty of Philology at Yerevan State University.

Nayiri Megerdichian has been a correspondent for Hairenik Weekly of the USA and Horizon Weekly of Canada and has published articles and interviews in different newspapers of Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora. Nayiri Megerdichian has also served as editor of the Western Armenian section of Tert.am.

Nayiri Megerdichian is one of the founders of Armenia’s only and the Diaspora’s first YERAGOUYN Western-Armenian news portal, which was founded in 2012, and has been the editor of the website for two years.

The newly appointed editor has been living in Armenia since 2001, is fluent in Eastern Armenian and Western Armenian and Arabic and has knowledge of English.

She is married with one daughter.
