“Hayern Aysor” continues to share the thoughts and impressions of participants of the “Ari Tun” Program, and this time it shares the thoughts and impressions of the host families.
Anna Kocharyan, Armenia: “Our family hosted an Armenian from the Diaspora for the first time ever. We have great impressions. We admire, feel proud and already miss our guest. The Armenian Diaspora is the support for my Homeland. I’m very happy to have met my fellow Armenians from the Diaspora. We hosted a girl who didn’t understand Armenian (she promised to learn Armenian), but in spite of that, she was a real Armenian. She thought like us, prayed every morning and asked God for everyone to have a good day.
I would like for the program to be ongoing. I will definitely be one of those who will receive our Diaspora Armenian brothers and sisters with pleasure. I’ll be waiting for them…”
Mariam Ayvazyan, Armenia: “I think the “Ari Tun” Program is a wonderful program that has been carried out for several years now. It provides Diaspora Armenian boys and girls with the opportunity to visit the Homeland and feel that everyone here is close to each other. I must say that the Diaspora Armenians become more and more connected to Armenia every time they visit and consider themselves a small part of our country. Thanks to the “Ari Tun” Program, they become familiar with every structure, church, fortress and chapel that their ancestors have created in the past. As they learn to speak Armenian, they prove to everyone that we are Armenian and are ready to do everything we can for Armenia.
I thank all the organizers of the “Ari Tun” Program.”
