At 10:40, August 20, the river debris, accumulated as a result of long-lasting and heavy rains, have blocked the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway (not far from the Georgian border checkpoint).

As reported by the Road Department of the Ministry of Infrastructures of the Republic of Georgia to the Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia, the road is blocked on both sides to all types of vehicles.

Since the last night the cleaning works have already been started. The Transport and Communication Ministry of Armenia advises drivers not to travel on this highway
