The US President rated exceptionally high the activity of Ambassador Tatul Margaryan
On the occasion of appointment of Tatul Margaryan as the RA Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the head of the Armenian mission to the European Union, the Armenian National Committee of America extended its gratitude to the Ambassador for serving to the Armenian people and greatly promoting the US-Armenian relations through the entire period of his effective mission in the USA.
As reported to “Armenpress” by the Armenian National Committee of America, the Ambassador Margaryan has deserved the respect of his American counterparts, foreign diplomats and the political circles of Washington. During an accreditation ceremony taken place recently at the White House, President Barack Obama had particularly addressed the Ambassador Margaryan’s Washingtonian activity, rated the Ambassador as “exceptional” in representing Armenia in the United States”.
In his farewell message, Secretary of State John Kerry “expressed deep gratitude to Ambassador Margaryan for his contribution to strengthening the important partnership between the two countries”. Aram Hamparian, the Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) in Washington, stressed in his comment that all the official statements of warmth and respects made would be beyond the accepted protocol format, and were the evidence of special respect toward the outgoing Ambassador and the importance attached to the US-Armenia strong links by the US authorities.
On the occasion of the end of the Ambassador’s mission, congressmen Frank Pallone, Ann Eshun, Adam Schiffer, Brad Sherman made statements at an extended session of the US Congress. The Armenian National Committee of America wished success to Ambassador Margaryan for assuming the Ambassador’s duties during such critical period in the EU-Armenia relations.
