On August 2, the RA Minister Hranush Hakobyan hosted Argishti Simonyan, the President of “Urartu” Armenian community charitable non-governmental organization in Kemerovo region.

At the meeting, issues on the Armenian community in Kemerovo were discussed. The Minister H. Hakobyan urged the head of the community to involve more Armenian young people in the programs organized by the Ministry, thus promoting preservation and dissemination of the mother tongue, culture and the Armenian identity beyond the borders of the Homeland.

On behalf of the Armenian community in Kemerovo, Argishti Simonyan granted Medal to Minister Hranush Hakobyan.

Argishti Simonyan is the member of the Chair of the Coordination Council in Kemerovo Region, as well as the member Kemerovo Region Public Chamber on issues related to civil society development.
