“Diaspora Summer School-2014”: “I am sure that I will acquire a lot of journalistic knowledge″- VarditerTsaturyan
VarditerTsaturyan participates in the Journalists’ training course within the framework of “Diaspora” Summer School of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. She represents “Huys” bi-weekly in Tehran. She likes journalism very much and,therefore, she has chosen this specialty. When talking about the paper, Varditer says that it has been running in Tehran for already seven years and is published in two languages – Armenian and Persian. On pages of “Huys” one can find a lot of information on public-political, cultural, sports events, etc. She states that the geographic boundaries of the bi-weekly have been extended: in kiosks of Armenia and various countries of the world one can find “Huys” bi-weekly.
The journalist says that the Armenians living in Tehran watch, with great attention, the events happening in Armenia and Tehran via all types of mass media, and in this respect, the local Armenian community is very active.
She participates in Journalists’ training course of “Diaspora” Summer School with great expectations and is sure that she is going to gain a lot of journalistic knowledge in Armenia. In course of the training, she has already received answers to the points of interest. She is satisfied with all the lectures, as the training is run by the professionals, delivering comprehensive and intensive courses.
As stated by VarditerTsaturyan, participation in the journalists’ training courses is a great achievement, as she has been able to acquire vigorand self-confidence. All the journalist participants representing other countries have agreedon staying in touch in the future and cooperating, when necessary.
Varditer has decided that, after returning to Iran, she will continue her education in the Tehran Journalists’ Institute to enrich her journalistic skills. She assures that, in course of her study, her participation in the Journalists’ training course of “Diaspora” Summer School will be very helpful.
