Armenians injured in Suleymanieh district of Aleppo

Armed terrorist groups have bombed the Suleymanieh district of Aleppo once again, injuring Armenians. As reported by “ArmenPress”, citing Aleppo’s Gandzasar Weekly’s Facebook page, the bombings left Avedis and Eliz Kurkdjian and Lara Snuni injured. Fortunately, their lives are not at risk.

Over the past two months, more than a dozen Armenians have been killed and injured in Aleppo. More than 100 Armenians have died during the three-year Syrian conflict. Starting from early June, the situation got worse in Aleppo, particularly in the Armenian-populated New Village district. As a result of the terrorist groups’ attacks, several homes have been left inhabited, and hundreds of homes are in need of repair. The once Armenian-populated New Village district is now a disaster zone that is deserted and left in ruins. New Village and Aleppo-Armenians are on the verge of extinction.

A call has been made to all Armenians to do everything possible to help put an end to the missile attacks in order to ensure the physical safety of the devastated people.
