On July 9, the participants of the 2^nd “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival left for Ararat province.

First, they climbed to the top of Khor Virap Monastery where they were introduced to the history of the holy place that all Armenians cherish.

The members of the dance ensembles admired the beautiful architecture of the church, lit candles, took photos and discovered a new, wonderful phenomenon that perhaps impressed them the most.

Afterwards, the dance ensembles left for the culture home in Artashat where they were greeted with a performance of the dance “Hayastan” by the little dancers of Artashat’s Navasard Dance Ensemble.

The concert held at the culture home included performances by Ukraine’s Armenia, Georgia’s Fantazia, Krasnodar’s Narek, Pyatigorsk’s Ani and Pskov’s Payler Dance Ensembles.

The visit to Ararat province ended with a banquet in Artashat.
