By the decision of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, Armen Hayrapetyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia.

Education

1983-graduated from the Faculty of History and English Language at Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute of Russian Language and Foreign Languages after V. Bryusov

1985-86: History teacher at Demitrov Middle School in Artashat region

1986-91: Instructor, sector manager for young students of the Central Committee of the Lenin Communist Youth Union of Armenia, Deputy Head of the Department for International Relations and Cooperation with the Diaspora

1991-92: Vice-President of “Diaspora” Association

1992- Vice-President, General Director of Mark International Ltd.

2010-11: Deputy Director General of Yama v Shcherbinke Ltd. (Russian Federation)

2011-12: RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora

Since 7 July 2014, he has been RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora.

Other data

From 1983 to 1985, he has served as a lieutenant in the Soviet army. He is fluent in Russian and English.
