Armenian female boxers to participate in European Women’s Boxing Championship to be held in Bucharest
Two female boxers, Kristine Sargsyan (49 kg weight category) and Ashkhen Hovhannisyan (60 kg weight category) will represent Armenia at the European Women’s Boxing Championship to be held in Bucharest from May 30th to June 8th . As reported by the press service of the Armenian Boxing Federation to “ArmenPress”, Armenia’s male boxers will also have a busy schedule in June since they will be participating in the international boxing championship to be held in the Czech Republic from June 2nd to 8th.
Armenia will be represented by Henrik Mokoyan (56 kg), Aram Avagyan (60 kg), Gor Yeritsyan (64 kg), Arman Darchinyan (69 kg) and Arman Hovhikyan (75 kg).
Later, from June 8th to 14th, Armenia’s boxers, including Ara Puluzyan (64 kg), Vladimir Margaryan (69 kg), Tigran Armenakyan (81 kg) and Rafael Simonyan (91 kg) will compete in the international championship to be held in Minsk. Armenia will have a representative in the 52 kg weight category at the international championship in Minsk, but the name of the athlete is still unknown.
