Exhibition showcasing works by students of Terlemezyan College was opened as part of Armenian Culture Days in Czech Republic

Armenian Culture Days are being held in the Czech city of Brno from May 19th to 26th. Students of the Panos Terlemezyan State Art College of Yerevan have arrived in Brno as part of the student art exchange program carried out upon the initiative of the RA Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic. The institution hosting the Armenian students in the Czech Republic is the arts gymnasium named after Pavel Krzhishkovsky in Brno.
According to “ArmenPress”, the Armenian students will be participating in a one-week program that will provide them with the opportunity to create, communicate and cooperate with the Czech students of the gymnasium, visit several sites that are of cultural value for the Czech Republic and the neighboring countries, become familiar with the country’s culture, traditions and educational system, as well as present Armenian culture, arts, traditions and cuisine.
On May 21, the students of Terlemezyan College showcased their works at an exhibition held at one of the halls of the Brno State Philharmonic. The event began with welcome speeches by Head of the Arts Department of the gymnasium Pavlina Kovarova, Advisor to the RA Ambassador to the Czech Republic Nune Zastukhova and Deputy Director of Terlemezyan College Arevik Sargsyan.
The opening ceremony included performances by the students of the Krzhishkovsky Arts Gymnasium.
The Armenian students’ works were praised by the administration, the students, as well as Czech and Armenian participants.
