РусскийTalk show dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide held in New Julfa
On Thursday, May 15 at 19:00, a talk show with the topic “No concessions-this is what the alert generation is calling for” was held at the central headquarters of Ararat Armenian Sport-Cultural Union in New Julfa. The talk show was organized by the ARF-D “Ruben” Youth Union and was dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The following were discussed during the talk show:
– The Turkish government’s plans and actions against the Armenians ahead of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide
-Armenia’s plans to make the Armenian Genocide recognized and in terms of territorial claims
– Turkey’s actions against the Armenians in the Armenian-populated town of Kessab
The members of the youth union had also conducted interviews devoted to the above mentioned topics with Prelate of the Armenian Diocese of Isfahan, Bishop Babgen Charian, representative of the region’s Armenian National Committee Ashot Davtian and Chairman of the Diocesan Council Noel Minassian, which were shown during the program. The event also included screenings of videos devoted to the topics.
