Armenian Genocide Commemoration event in Moscow

On Apr. 24, flowers and wreaths were laid near the cross-stone at the monastic complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Moscow in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Among the participants of the ceremony were RA Ambassador to the Russian Federation Oleg Yesayan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Nor Nakhichevan and Russia, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, representatives of Russian state bodies, leaders of the Union of Armenians of Russia, as well as Armenian students of universities in Moscow and Moscow-based Armenians.
The ceremony was followed by a Requiem Mass served under the direction of Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan at the Holy Glorification Church of Moscow in memory of the 1.5 million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.
