On Apr. 16, the Committee for the 99^th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide held a session at the Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese of Atrpatakan to discuss the April 24^th events.

The special committee established by the national authorities and comprised of all the active unions, structures and cultural and educational organizations planned the events to commemorate the 99^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide within the Diocese.

Representatives of the national authorities attended the meeting held by leader of the Diocese, Supreme Archimandrite Krikor Chiftjian and the Committee to synthesize the activities.

Like in previous years, the Armenian Diocese of Atrpatakan will commemorate the Armenian Genocide with a Divine Liturgy and pan-national events this year as well.

Let us inform that the April 24^th events will be held in Urmia region and will bring together representatives of the active unions and organizations.
