Ambassador Shoyan granted medals of the RA Ministry of Diaspora

On Apr. 11, awards of the RA Ministry of Diaspora were granted during a ceremony held at the RA Embassy in Bulgaria.

RA Ambassador to Bulgaria Arsen Shoyan granted the Gold Medal of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to President of the Union of Journalists of Bulgaria Snezhana Todorova, member of the City Council of Plovdiv Spas Grnevski and President of the National Council for Religious Communities, Professor Ruben Grigoryan.

The Hakop Meghapart Medal was granted to Professor Hakop Karapetyan and Co-Chair of the Armenian National Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Yerevan newspaper Vardanush Topakbashyan.

The William Saroyan Medal was granted to Chairman of AGBU Sofia Chapter Sonya Avagyan.

Creator of the plan for the Saint Mary Church in Sofia, chief architect Hakop Karakashyan received the Arshil Gorky Medal.

The RA Ambassador congratulated the recipients and expressed gratitude to them for helping raise Armenia’s reputation and make Armenia recognized, their contributions to the preservation of the Armenian identity, their activities aimed at disseminating Armenian culture, making contriibutions to the strengthening of relations between Armenian communities of the Diaspora and for their collaboration with the Embassy.
