“Welcome to Armenia” Diplomatic Association held charity fair

On Apr. 12, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan, RA Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan and Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, deputies of the National Assembly and Ambassadors accredited to Yerevan attended a charity fair held by the “Welcome to Armenia” Diplomatic Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia on the occasion of Motherhood and Beauty Day.
RA First Lady Rita Sargsyan honored the charity fair with her presence.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, director of the “Welcome to Armenia” Association Natalya Nalbandyan expressed gratitude to Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan for supporting the charity fair, as well as to all the supporters and participants and mentioned that most of the proceeds would go to the renovation of Kindergartens N 130 and N 71 of Yerevan and some of the proceeds would go to the Armenians of Kessab.
After the opening ceremony, First Lady Rita Sargsyan, NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Nalbandyan, RA Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan and Mayor Taron Margaryan toured the pavilions, were introduced to the variety of products and masters’ works and tasted different national meals.
Among the more than 50 participants were the representatives of 20 diplomatic representations accredited to Armenia, as well as several local producers and artists.
The event brought together nearly 4,000 visitors, reports the RA MFA press office.
