Tigran Sargsyan met representatives of European Parliament and European Commission in Brussels

RA Prime Minister, Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Tigran Sargsyan is in Brussels where he will participate in the summit of the European People’s Party (EPP). At the office of the European Friends of Armenia NGO Tigran Sargsyan met today with several delegates of the European Parliament, as well as representatives of the Office for External Relations and Foreign Affairs of the European Commission, other European structures and international non-governmental organizations and answered their questions of concern. In the context of the perspectives of the development of relations between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union, the RA Prime Minister reaffirmed the Armenian government’s political stance, according to which Armenia has enshrined the balanced improvement of relations in the doctrine of the country’s foreign policy, that is, not at the price of the other. In his speech, Tigran Sargsyan mentioned that “the principle of “either…or” is unacceptable for Armenia”’ and that “the principle of building relations by complementing each other is a more acceptable approach”.
During the second half of the day, the RA Prime Minister, Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Tigran Sargsyan will participate in the summit of the EPP.
