On Feb. 20 at 18:00, Chapek’s play “The Mother” directed by RA Honorable Artist, Professor Lala Mnatsakanyan will be presented at the Student Theater of Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema and is dedicated to the memory of Armen Mazmanyan, reports the press service of Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema.

Entrance will be free. The play has already been presented at theaters in Armenia and abroad.

On 7-14 September 2012, the film was shown during the 17^th Belaya Vezha-2012: Klasika Plyus International Theater Festival in the Belarusian city of Brest. It was well received and won the “Sympathy of the Audience” Award.

The film stars RA Honorable Artist Lala Mnatsakanyan as the leading actress, as well as Armen Karapetyan and students of the Institute’s late rector Armen Mazmanyan, including Samvel Tadevosyan, Vachagan Yeritsyan, Arsen Azizyan, Sargis Baghdasaryan and Aghvan Mnatsakanyan.
