Ambassador Ter-Stepanyan elected president of the newly created group of ambassadors of Francophone countries in France

On Feb. 4, Ambassadors of Francophone countries accredited to France and representatives of member and observer countries in the International Organization of La Francophonie participated in a meeting in Paris. Armenia’s Ambassador to France Vigen Chitechyan and Armenia’s Representative to the Permanent Council of La Francophonie, Ambassador Christian Ter-Stepanyan also participated in the meeting, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.

The goal of the meeting was to create a group of ambassadors of the Francophone countries in France. Ambassador Christian Ter-Stepanyan was unanimously elected head of the group.

The group’s activities will be aimed at disseminating the values and principles of La Francophonie, presenting the diversity of La Francophonie, as well as improving the atmosphere for mutual understanding between nations.
