On Dec. 24, the Football Federation of Armenia announced the names of the Best Coach of the Year and Best Football Player of the Year during the annual FFA Awards.
Based on the results of a vote, mid-fielder for the Armenian national football team and the German Borussia team Henrich Mkhitaryan has been recognized as Armenia’s best football player of the year.
The biggest surprise for all the participants, including Henrich Mkhitaryan was when President of UEFA Michel Platini announced the name of the Best Football Player of the Year.
In an exclusive video, the UEFA President opens the envelope and announces the name of the Best Football Player of the Year in Armenian, reports the FFA official website.
