On Dec. 20, the advisory board under the RA Minister of Diaspora held its subsequent session.

According to the agenda, Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Firdus Zakaryan delivered a report on the working plan for 2014.

Zakaryan also mentioned that the plan includes the functions for implementing the common policy on development of Armenia-Diaspora partnership specified by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia issued on October 22, 2013.

First Vie-President of the World Armenian Congress Aram Sargsyan delivered a report on the events to be held by the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the World Armenian Congress next year, and a report on the draft of the plan for the advisory board under the RA Minister of Diaspora for 2014 was delivered by the advisory board’s secretary Aida Elchibekyan.

The session was followed by a discussion on current issues.

Summing up the session, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan indicated the most important programs and upcoming events for the year to come.
