Young pilgrims of Armenian Diocese of Brazil visit Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
On July 12, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received pilgrims of the Armenian Diocese of Brazil escorted by Primate of the Diocese, His Grace Bishop Nareg Berberian at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The young pilgrims recently participated in the “Towards the Homeland, Towards the Holy Etchmiadzin” pan-Armenian youth meeting.
The Catholicos of All Armenians expressed his joy for the visit of the young nation-loving and church-loving Armenians of Brazil to Armenia. Conveying his patriarchal love and blessing to the young Armenians, the Supreme Patriarch voiced hope that they would stay clung to the homeland and the Mother Church and would continue to reinforce the national and spiritual life of the Armenians of Brazil with their active involvement.
During the meeting with His Holiness, the young Armenians affirmed that they were excited to participate in the youth meeting and meet their peers and noted that their pilgrimage to the homeland was a great experience for them.
From July 4 to 8, Armenia hosted the “Towards the Homeland, Towards the Holy Etchmiadzin” pan-Armenian youth meeting that gathered nearly 400 young church-loving Armenians from over 20 countries, and 11 of the participants were from the Armenian Diocese of Brazil.
