Argentina’s Gaiane Armenian Dance Ensemble to give concerts in Yerevan

More than 650 people gathered at Siranoush Hall of the Armenian Center in Buenos Aires to participate in a concert to bid farewell to the Gaiane Dance Ensemble of the Armenian Cultural Association of Argentina before the dance ensemble’s visit to Armenia next week.

As reported the organizers to Hayern Aysor, the concert featured performances by not only Gaiane Dance Ensemble, but also singer Pablo Kouyoumdjian, the orchestra of the Armenian Cultural Association of Argentina, Tagouhi Armenian Choir (led by maestro Andy Istepanian) and the starters’ group of Gaiane Dance Ensemble.

The Master of Ceremonies was Ivan Biseglia.

President of the Armenian Cultural Association of Argentina Adrian Lomlomdjian delivered his welcoming remarks on behalf of the organization, after which Lomlomdjian and the Association’s board member Rojelia Corvaglia granted a commemorative gift to President of the Armenian Center Carlos Manoukian on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Buenos Aires.

In Armenia, Gaiane Dance Ensemble will give concerts at Hakob Paronyan State Musical Comedy Theater in Yerevan (23 July) and the Cultural Palace in Stepanavan (25 July).
