Results of “From Sardarapat to Artsakh” pan-Armenian essay and painting contests annunciated

The results of the “From Sardarapat to Artsakh” pan-Armenian essay and painting contests, organized by the Ministries of Education and Science and Diaspora and Yerevan Municipality within the scope of the 2018 Program of Events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia and the May Heroic Battles, were announced during a solemn ceremony held on June 27. As reported Hayern Aysor, the participants were the schoolchildren of general education institutions of Armenia and Artsakh and the schoolchildren of Armenian schools of the Diaspora.
The schoolchildren of Armenian schools of 27 countries showcased 230 works, including 123 essays and 107 paintings. Out of the hundreds of works, the contest committees selected the 20 best essays and the 20 best paintings of the schoolchildren from Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora that were included in the “From Sardarapat to Artsakh: Essays, Paintings” anthology. The winning schoolchildren were greeted by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Arevik Anapiosyan, who praised the children’s creative works, the source of inspiration of which is the 100th anniversary of the events that are of historical significance for the Armenian people.
Among the participants of the solemn event were winners from Iran, Lebanon and Kuwait.
