Beirut’s Haigazian University hosts Anatoli Avetyan’s exhibition

On June 13, Matossian Gallery of Haigazian University of Beirut hosted the opening of an exhibition featuring the works of People’s Painter of the Republic of Armenia Anatoli Avetyan. The exhibition was sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon and Haigazian University of Beirut.
The event began with welcoming remarks by President of Haigazian University of Beirut, the Very Rev. Paul Haytostian and Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanon Samvel Mkrtchyan.
Hayern Aysor, citing the Embassy’s Facebook page, reports that, in his speech, the Ambassador highly appreciated the originality of Avetyan’s works and his mastery of combining diverse ways of expression. He wished that the painter continue his career that has been prolific for decades. Mkrtchyan also expressed gratitude to the Very Rev. Paul Haytostian for the University’s ongoing support.
Avetyan extended thanks to the event’s organizers and the words of appreciation.
The exhibition features 26 paintings and will be open for art lovers until June 16.
