Outdoor film screenings to be held at parks and groves in Yerevan
Ahead of the 95th anniversary of Armenian cinema, the National Cinema Center of Armenia is going to hold ongoing outdoor screenings of films at parks and groves in Yerevan. Old and new Armenian films, including entertaining artistic, animated and musical films will be shown in various administrative districts of Yerevan (Malatia-Sebastia, Shengavit, Nor-Nork, Ajapnyak and Kentron).
The Facebook page of the National Cinema Center of Armenia reports that film screenings will be held at Cafesjian Grove (Cascade) from June 13 to 15. The schedule is as follows:
13 June-“The Ignorant One” (1995, 9 minutes, directed by A. Manaryan), “Wandering” (2011, 83 minutes, directed by A. Harutyunyan);
14 June-“Sluggish Huri” (2016, 22 minutes, directed by A. Mikayelyan), “Khatabala” (1970, 69 minutes, directed by Yu. Yerznkyan);
15 June-“Dream Found” (1976, 9 minutes, directed by H. Dilakyan) and “Map for Salvation” (2015, 88 minutes, directed by A. Shahbazyan and M. Saribekyan).
