On May 21, Narek Armenian Cultural Union of the Belgian city of Kortrijk, in partnership with the municipality, hosted the World Culture Market Festival, gathering representatives of 16 nationalities.

As reported President of Narek Armenian Cultural Union Artak Zhamharyan to Hayern Aysor, the Union presented various types of Armenian dishes to over 5,000 visitors in an Armenian pavilion, and the Union’s Narek Armenian Dance Ensemble, under the direction of dance instructor Angela Avakimyan, gave a three-hour concert. The festival, which lasted until late at night, was held in a totally Armenian atmosphere and to the sounds of Armenian songs and music.
