Charity event for Armenian children suffering from diseases to be held in Switzerland
On May 24 at 19:00, at the initiative of the Switzerland-Armenia Association, the Hagop Topalian Center will host an event for children of the Republic of Armenia suffering from diseases. The event is organized by SEMRAPLUS and the funds and foundations of Switzerland.
According to Hayern Aysor, the event will feature screenings of four films made by the French Jura team of cinematographers and President of Camera Club Jura Jacques Dauchuru in Armenia in 2016, including:
“I will go to Armenia” – the film presents a cinematographic journey through the landscapes and historical heritage of Armenia
“7.12.1988 at 11:41” – the film presents the progress made in the wake of the devastating earthquake in Armenia and the embodiment of the solidarity between Jura and Armenia by SEMRAPLUS Foundation
“Today Arabkir-ARBES” – the film presents the opening of a children’s hospital in Yerevan thanks to international assistance, especially SEMRAPLUS. Today, the center has high ratings.
“Armenia: 25 Years of Independence” – the celebrations dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia will be presented.
Established by Jean Pierre Bernhard Kurtuch in the wake of the 1988 Spitak Earthquake, SEMRAPLUS is the Jurassic Foundation, which completely comprises volunteers. After thirty years, under the chairmanship of Kle Heche and under the direction of Jean-Luc Bayeri, the Foundation continues funding and increase funding for the children’s hospital in the Arabkir district of Yerevan. The main goal of the Foundation is to provide high-quality medical aid to the children of socially disadvantaged families.
