Meetings with Diaspora Armenian students continue

On March 6, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Vahagn Melikyan, Head of the Department of All-Armenian Programs at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Gagik Gyanjumyan and founder of the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council (DASC) and president of the Council’s board of trustees Samvel Mkoyan had meetings at two Armenian universities, reported DASC Press and Public Relations Officer Arpi Petrosyan to Hayern Aysor.

Among those attending the meeting at Movses Khorenatsi University were Rector Arthur Aghababyan and President of the Student Council Tigran Sargsyan, and among the attendees of the meeting at Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema was Acting President of the Student Council Milena Baldryan.

Samvel Mkoyan introduced the Diaspora Armenian students to the past activities and upcoming programs of the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council. This year, Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema has enrolled Armenian students from Lebanon, Nigeria, Syria, Russia and Georgia.

“We are always ready to help you solve any problem,” Gagik Gyanjumyan told the students as he presented the programs that are being carried out by the Ministry of Diaspora. The Diaspora Armenian students shared their concerns and tried to find paths to solve their problems.

Let us add that the meetings with Diaspora Armenian students are being held at the initiative of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Diaspora Armenian Students’ Council. There will be more meetings at other universities in Armenia.
