Students of Marseille’s Khachatur Abovyan Armenian School: “We are proud of you, Armenian soldiers!”

Hayern Aysor presents the letter that President of Khachatur Abovyan Armenian School of Marseille Karen Khurshudyan has addressed to the soldiers of the Armenian Army.

“Happy Armenian Army Day, my brave soldiers, my border guards! Be healthy, successful and safe! I don’t feel the need to ask you how you are doing because I know what you experience and how you survive every day. I am certain that you are not afraid of the poor weather. You are not submissive to it, just like a stone. The fire of the nation conveying eternal warmth burns in your heart. Love and longing, fear and courage are mixed in your soul. You bear the heavy burden of responsibility for the safety and peace of the Armenian nation on your shoulders.

To encourage you, the first graders of the Khachatur Abovyan Armenian School of Marseille are sending their first letter to the Republic of Artsakh.

They have tried to portray you, Armenian border guards, as courageous. They have addressed their first words and the letters of the Armenian alphabet to the real defenders of the mother language and the homeland, meaning you all.

We love you very much and can’t wait for your return. We are proud of you, Armenian soldiers, Armenian border guards and Armenian Army, which becomes stronger with every brave soldier.”
