РусскийImportance was attached to creation of professional networks
On January 16, Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Hranush Hakobyan chaired a consultation with Head of the Department for Relations with Pan-Armenian, International and Ecclesiastical Organizations of the Ministry. Among the participants was Deputy Minister Vahagn Melikyan.
The works completed in 2017 were presented, and the future actions were pinpointed.
The format for participation of pan-Armenian organizations in the Ministry’s programs and projects was considered.
Importance was attached to the creation of professional networks, the opening of branches of the existing associations in various countries, as well as community-related studies, the identification of historical and cultural issues of Armenians abroad and the development of programs for Armenians in Sudan, Ethiopia, Egypt, India, Bangladesh and Singapore.
