Actors of only Armenian state theater abroad to perform in renovated building

On January 15, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan had a meeting with the personnel of the Petros Adamian Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theater.

As reported the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia to Hayern Aysor, talking about the theater, Ambassador Sadoyan stressed the major role that the theater has played in Armenian reality and highlighted the major significance that the theater has in the lives of the Armenian community of Georgia today.

The Ambassador asked about the stage of capital renovation of the theater and voiced hope that the actors of the only Armenian state theater abroad will soon have the opportunity to perform in its own and renovated theater.

In his turn, the theater’s artistic director Armen Bayanduryan talked about the theater’s activities, the plays that are being directed and the upcoming tours.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Sadoyan stated that the activities of the Petros Adamian Tbilisi State Armenian Drama Theater will always be in the focus of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia.
