Syrian-Armenian children’s dance groups’ open lesson and year-end concert at Philharmonic’s dance studio

At the initiative of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, the dance studio of the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra hosted the open lesson and year-end concert of the Syrian-Armenian children’s dance groups established by the National Aesthetic Center after H. Igityan.

Established in September 2017, the dance groups comprise 25 Syrian-Armenian children in three age groups. The dance instructors are Adrine Shirinyan, Lusine Sopachyan and Ashot Ohanyan.

During the event, the Syrian-Armenian children showed the first moves that they had learned, and a dance number was performed at the end of each lesson. The representatives of the dance studio also gave a short New Year’s concert.

At the end, Director of the Philharmonic’s National Aesthetic Center Gagik Avetisyan performed a dance with the students of the studio.
