Baghanis village residents place cross-stone on Mount Harsnakar serving as shrine

A new cross-stone has been placed on Mount Harsnakar in Armenia’s bordering Baghanis village. Located 1,200 meters above sea level, the mountain has been known since the Middle Age and serves as a shrine for the residents of Baghanis.
According to panorama.am, former head of the village Narek Sahakyan wrote the following on his Facebook page: “Every morning, the biggest wish of the residents of Baghanis to God is the following: “MY FACE UNDER YOUR FOOT, HARSNAKAR, JUST DON’T LET THERE BE BATTLES AND WARS”.
P.S.: Our ancestors have prayed to God in Harsnakar, we pray, and our future generations will also pray. The residents of Baghanis live with the hope for a better future.”
