Tyumen’s Mesrop Mashtots Armenian Cultural Center hosts event called “Golden Autumn”
Autumn is everywhere. It is bombastic in the parks, reflects sadness and hope on the streets, and the leaves are scattered in plashes…
The Mesrop Mashtots Armenian Cultural Center of Tyumen (director: S. Stepanyan) has hosted events devoted to many seasons, but the events devoted to autumn are the most vivid.
As reported the cultural center to Hayern Aysor, on November 12, the preparatory group of the Armenian cultural center held a festive event entitled “Golden Autumn” with its entire beauty. Everything was decorated with the bright and beautiful colors of autumn. A corner of the classroom was variegated and decorated with golden leaves that set the mood of the season. The event began with a beautiful performance of the song “Autumn” based on Hovhannes Tumanyan’s words. Autumn was probably the most beautiful season through the eyes of the great poet.
Among the attendees were the pupils’ parents and teachers and simply people who love autumn. The pupils turned the day into an unforgettable celebration with their performances of songs, dances, riddles and staged performances. They presented the whole charm of autumn (the joy, tranquility and sorrow…).
Afterwards, the pupils competed as they presented the goods of autumn, including figs, grapes, pears and pomegranates. The exhibited fruits were an expression of the talent of laborers. Every participant received a sweet gift for proper and beautiful presentation.
The competition was followed by the games that were organized by Armenian language teacher A. Poghosyan and engaged all the participants of the event.
Member of the parents’ committee Argine Aleksanyan congratulated and expressed gratitude to the homeroom teacher and the cultural center’s teachers for organizing the beautiful event and conveying warmth to them.
The event ended, but autumn continues and decorates the road leading the participants to their homes.
Till next autumn…
