On his Twitter page, Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Balayan reported that no Armenians or citizens of the Republic of Armenia were injured in the devastating earthquake that took place in Iran.

“Based on the preliminary data provided by the embassies of the Republic of Armenia in Iran and Iraq, no citizens of the Republic of Armenia or Armenians have been injured in the earthquake that took place on the border between Iran and Iraq. Representations of the Republic of Armenia are constantly in contact with the local authorities,” wrote Babayan.
