Armenia can vote for its delegate Misha at 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Major changes have been made in the procedure for voting during the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

According to the new procedure, this year’s participating country will also be able to vote for its delegate through an online vote, which will be launched on 24 November at www.junioreurovision.tv (the website features the preliminary versions of the performances of all 16 participants). After watching the performance, the TV viewer will be able to vote for 3, 4 or 5 participants, reported the Public Relations Department of First Channel.

The voting will end on 26 November (right before the day of the contest) and will be re-launched after all 16 performances. The voting will last 15 minutes. The TV viewers’ votes will become points that will become a part of the contest’s final results, while the other part will be formed based on the evaluation of the jury. The participant with the most points will be declared the winner.

The 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be the 15th song contest and will be held with the motto “Shine Bright”. Armenia will be participating along with 15 other countries, including Albania, Australia, Belarus, Cyprus, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Serbia, Portugal and Georgia, which is hosting the contest.

Armenian Public Television is the official broadcaster of the contest in Armenia.
