U.S. State of Michigan recognizes Artsakh’s independence
The State of Michigan has recognized the independence of the Republic of Artsakh, reported the Armenian National Committee of Michigan, according to Armenpress.
The Senate of the State of Michigan has passed a resolution calling on the President of the United States of America and Congress to recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, establish economic and cultural ties with Artsakh and support peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
Michigan has become the 8th U.S. State to recognize Artsakh’s independence.
