According to Hayern Aysor, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Kazakhstan has issued a press release stating that an event devoted to the National Day of the Republic of Armenia will be held in Astana on August 16, 2017. At 15:00, from the main stage of Expo 2017, Armenia the Land of the Sun will “open its doors” and present the entire palette of Armenian culture, with the miracle-working magic of the East and absorbed with the charms of Europe. Those who wish to attend the event can purchase their tickets at the embassy.

On August 15, the Eurasian Music Games musical event kicked off in Astana and will end on August 25. The event will feature the concerts of cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, Khachaturian Trio and the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia led by conductor Sergey Smbatyan. Narek Hakhnazaryan’s concert is dedicated to the memory of Rostropovich.
