RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives founding director of New York’s “Ardzagang” television station in Ara Manoukian

On December 6, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received founding director of New York’s “Ardzagang” television station Ara Manoukian.
Founded in 1996 with the major purpose of contributing to the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora relations, the television station presents Diaspora Armenians with news about the events taking place in Armenia, as well as cultural and scientific events. The television station also consolidates Diaspora Armenian organizations, Armenian Churches, as well as schools and associations abroad and provides coverage of their activities.
Minister Hranush Hakobyan presented the activities carried out by the RA Ministry of Diaspora to solve the key issues facing Syrian-Armenians in Armenia, including the construction of the “New Aleppo” district.
The sides discussed issues on raising awareness about the programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and engaging the youth of the community in those programs, as well as issues related to the strengthening of bonds between Armenia and the Diaspora.
