Argentine-Armenian community continues charity concert series devoted to “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement
As reported Hayern Aysor, on August 10, at the initiative of AGBU Argentina Chapter, the Symphony Orchestra of Salta will give a peace concert, which is part of the “What are YOU doing for Artsakh?” pan-Armenian movement launched by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia. The orchestra will perform with dudukist Saro Danielian, who also helped organize the charity concert.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to purchase musical instruments for music schools in Artsakh.
The concerts, which are also aimed at helping tourists recognize Artsakh, have already been held in several cities across Argentina. Argentine-Armenian musician and Honorary Member of AGBU Argentina Gagik Gasparyan has been appointed the artistic director for the concerts, and Honorary Member of the AGBU Central Board and Vice-Chairman of AGBU Argentina Antonio Sarafian has been appointed general correspondent.
Let us add that the events taking place in South America will draw to an end in Armenia in September 2017.
