On July 26, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received President of the Union of Syrian-Armenians NGO Nerses Kivo and NGO member Hrayr Meguerditchian.

Recently, with the support of the World Bank Group and the GIZ, a delegation of Syrian-Armenian businessmen participated in the first congress of the International Syrian Business Association held in the French city of Marseille. Nerses Kivo shared his impressions of the congress and touched upon the results and the perspectives.

The Minister attached importance to the businessmen’s willingness to invest their potential in Armenia by participating in the advancement of the homeland. Other issues related to implementation of business plans were considered.

The sides also touched upon the problems and activities of the Union of Syrian-Armenians NGO. The guests expressed willingness to work more closely with the Ministry and show active participation in the Ministry’s programs.
