Armenia’s humanitarian assistance to Syrians in Damascus continues

On July 14, citizens of Damascus received another batch of humanitarian assistance during an event held at the St. Sargis Armenian Church in Damascus and attended by Deputy of the People’s Council of Syria, chairperson of the Syria-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Committee Nora Arisian; Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Damascus, Archbishop Armash Nalbandian, as well as representatives of Armenian community organizations of Damascus and the staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Syria, reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Hayern Aysor.
Once again, over 100 war-devastated families received their shares of humanitarian assistance from Armenia with gratitude and satisfaction.
In an interview to Syrian media outlets, Archbishop Armash Nalbandian highly appreciated the effective cooperation of the Syria-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Committee, the RA Embassy in Syria and Armenian community organizations. In her turn, Nora Arisian expressed gratitude to the government of the friendly Armenia for supporting the people of Syria.
