With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Christian Education Center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, attaching importance to the role of Armenian Sunday schools in identifying the current issues in parish communities and sites and regulating planned activities, held a conference in Tsakhkadzor for clergymen coordinating the Armenian Sunday schools’ activities, educators and World Vision territorial development offices on 2-3 December, in association with World Vision Armenia.

The event began with opening remarks by Director of the Christian Education Center of the Mother See, Archimandrite Vardan Navasardyan, who attached importance to the Armenian Sunday schools’ mission and need in community life. His Holiness touched upon the goals and plans for the two-day conference that will help develop the two-year strategy in order to indicate the directions.

The multilateral discussions and relevant speeches helped the participants identify the organizational, program-related, content-related, material and technical problems and propose possible ways of solving those problems that are seen in the daily activities of Sunday schools.
